  • Contribute to the growth and optimization of the U.S. Financial Lines portfolio by analyzing performance and supporting strategic initiatives.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with brokers and clients while identifying opportunities for account expansion.
  • Anticipate emerging risks in fintech, cryptocurrency, and digital assets to inform underwriting and product development.
  • Support and mentor junior team members to foster a collaborative, high-performance culture.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver a seamless underwriting approach aligned with broader strategy.
  • Promote underwriting discipline and operational efficiency through the use of data and continuous improvement.

Full Job Description
WHAT YOU WILL DO
  • Underwrite and negotiate complex Financial Lines risks across D&O, E&O (professional liability), Crime, EPL, and Fiduciary, taking full ownership of coverage structure, pricing, and terms in line with Relm's underwriting philosophy.
  • Contribute to the growth and optimization of our U.S. Financial Lines portfolio by analyzing performance, identifying trends, and supporting strategic initiatives.
  • Build and strengthen broker and client relationships, proactively identifying opportunities to expand accounts through cross-selling, increased limits, and new product offerings.
  • Anticipate emerging risks, particularly across fintech, cryptocurrency, digital assets, and decentralized platforms, using market insight to inform underwriting and product development.
  • Support and mentor junior team members, helping to foster a collaborative, high-performance culture grounded in technical excellence.
  • Partner with colleagues across claims, legal, compliance, product, and distribution to deliver a seamless underwriting approach aligned with Relm's broader strategy.
  • Promote underwriting discipline, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement, including the use of data, tools, and evolving processes.


WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:
  • 8+ years of underwriting experience within Financial Lines.

The annual salary for this role is structured within a range of USD $180,000 to USD $200,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
