What You Will Do:This position supports SupplyChain and Commercial initiatives for two of our top retailer partners, CVS andWalgreens. This role plays acritical role in bridging L'Oréal's supply chain capabilities with ourcommercial objectives, specifically leading our strategic partnership with bothretailers. This role focuses on optimizing service levels, driving operationalefficiencies, and fostering strong cross-functional and external relationshipsto maximize product availability (ISA and OLA) and support sustainable salesgrowth. In order to achieve the above theposition will be responsible for:
1.Strategic Customer Partnership & External Relations- Drive Customer Strategy: Develop and execute tailored supply chain strategies that optimize service levels, OTIF, and trade inventory while balancing cost-to-serve targets with overall commercial goals.
- Strengthen Retailer Partnership: Serve as a key operational leader for CVS and Walgreens, establishing strategic category goals, leading long-term joint initiatives, and influencing external purchasing decisions to support CPD brands.
- Customer Advocacy: Champion the customer's perspective within internal teams, embedding a customer-centric mindset and ensuring requirements shape future operational designs.
2. SupplyChain Optimization & Operational Excellence- Process & Technology Enhancement: Identify and champion continuous improvement initiatives to streamline supply chain activities, enhancing customer shipments, in stock availability, and online availability (OLA).
- Replenishment Alignment: Lead efforts to align L'Oréal's operational capabilities with the customer's replenishment strategies to ensure a responsive, agile supply chain.
- Root Cause & Performance Analysis: Partner with cross-functional teams to investigate supply chain bottlenecks, conduct root cause analysis, and execute action plans (including Voice of the Customer and Advantage Survey feedback).
3.Cross-Functional Collaboration & S&OP Integration- Commercial Alignment: Build strong partnerships with internal stakeholders-including the CPD Commercial GM, Commercial Controller, Commercial VP, and Commercial Planners-to address challenges and unlock growth opportunities.
- Forecasting & S&OP Support: Enhance forecasting accuracy by providing data-driven insights, collaborating with commercial teams, and aligning customer demand with the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead meetings and discussions on customer supply chain topics, providing actionable recommendations to guide decision-making.
4.Leadership & Team Development- Team Guidance: Support, mentor, and guide the Customer Supply Chain team by setting clear objectives, monitoring performance, and identifying professional development opportunities.
- Culture & Succession: Foster a collaborative, growth-oriented team culture and build robust succession plans for the immediate team
RequiredQualifications:- Bachelor's degree required.
- 10+ years' experience in FMCG Supply Chain or equivalent. At least 3 years in a customer-facing role.
- Excellent professional verbal & written communication skills, including being proficient in negotiation skills
- Demonstrated analytical approach to management of supply chain interface between CPG organization and the customer.
- Ability to influence e2e Supply Chain and other functions across reporting lines.
- Proven ability to structure and conduct supply chain analyses with particular emphasis on customer collaborative results.
- Effective in motivating and developing talent
- History of engaging and leading teams while actively developing talent pipeline.
- Authorization to work in the United States on a full-time, permanent, ongoing basis is required. No immigration support/sponsorship offered for this role.
- Being present in the office three days a week is considered an essential function of all office-based roles for eligible full-time employees.
Thisposition requires up to 25% travel domestically.
