Responsibilities
The Assistant Property Manager is responsible for assisting the Property Manager in the daily operation and maintenance of a commercial property location(s), including rent collection, lease management, maintenance coordination, and tenant relations. The Assistant Property Manager will be accountable for administrative duties and marketing efforts to include cross coordination with the Lease Administration and Accounting departments across a portfolio of buildings.
Key Responsibilities include:
Assisting with the overall management of building repairs and preventative maintenance operations. Ensures facility operations, cost-management, maintenance policies/procedures/work orders are maintained.
Primary contact with building tenants. Manages the work-order system; receives and interprets requests and implements appropriate responses.
Oversees correspondence to owners, tenants, vendors, and management. Prepares and distributes monthly activity reports.
Accountable for lease administration, rent collections, and delinquency follow up.
Enforces standard operating procedures, maintenance policies and work instructions to address maintenance and repair work orders.
Partners with Property Manager to supervise building maintenance personnel, contractors, and outsourced services.
Maintains certificates of insurance and occupancy and assists with financial reporting.
Qualifications
