About the Role:As a CBRE Assistant Property Manager, you will support the Property Manager or higher staff in managing all aspects of a commercial office building in New York, including marketing, operations, and financial activities.
This job is part of the Property Management job function. They are responsible for operating buildings on behalf of a client or group.
The role is onsite in New York City, NY USA. The building is a 39-story Art Deco office tower, approximately 460,000 sq ft!
What You'll Do:- Respond to tenant needs, ensuring that administrative and building technical staff resolve problems promptly. Ensure that services are provided in compliance with policies, procedures, regulations and contractual obligations and standards.
- Maintain property records in an organized and up-to-date manner.
- Interact with tenants via phone, email, and in-person.
- Assist in performing periodic regular property inspections. Recommend alterations, maintenance and reconditioning as necessary.
- Review and recommend approvals to Property Manager or higher staff for accurate payment of vendor invoices on behalf of the property owner in compliance with the management agreement, CBRE policies and PM approval authorization matrix.
- Responsible for assignment of Purchase Orders per CBRE Policies and PM approval authorization matrix.
- Assist with the preparation of accurate tenant billings.
- Assist in coordinating tenant move-ins and move-outs, and "walks-through" spaces with tenants and tenant improvement department.
- Assist in preparing and delivering timely, accurate, and complete reports.
- May assist in producing research data on budget line items or entering budget data provided by manager into budget reports.
- May gather and confirm preliminary data for accounts receivable aging reports.
- Have some knowledge of standard principles with limited practical experience in applying them.
- Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.

- Bachelor's Degree preferred with up to 3 years of relevant commercial real estate experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
- Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems.
- Experience with analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.

The minimum base salary for the Assistant Property Manager is $85,000/year and the maximum base salary is $95,000/year. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
