Responsibilities

  • Assist project management with energy source aspects of the data center
  • Conduct pre-bid and job start meetings under supervision of the Project Manager
  • Monitor contract compliance, reporting concerns to Project Manager
  • Facilitate job site meetings and prepare minutes under Project Manager's direction
  • Ensure approvals from government agencies are received and documented
  • Prepare field reports for Project Manager review
  • Perform QA/QC processes and review change orders for accuracy
  • Maintain As Built drawings and provide basic CPM scheduling support

Full Job Description
We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Project Manager, who will specifically work with the energy provider to this new build data center site. They will assist the project management team by coordinating, organizing, and tracking documentation related to this scope, as well as communicating status and update to the project management team. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: • Assist the project management team with the energy source aspects of the project • Under supervision of Project Manager, conduct pre-bid and job start meetings. • Monitor contract compliance and report concerns to Project Manager. • Under the supervision of Project Manager, facilitate job site meetings and prepare meeting minutes. • Oversee approvals from applicable government agencies are received and documented. . • Prepares field reporting for review by Project Manager. • Perform QA/QC process. • Review change orders for completeness and conformance to company and client standards. • Review RFIs/Submittals for completeness before distribution to design team. • Provide basic CPM scheduling and budget management. • Review and maintain As Built drawings. • Other duties as assigned. • Attendance at work during normal business hours. Preferred Education and Experience: • Education: BS in Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Architecture, or related field, Engineering degree is highly preferred • Experience: 3+ years of experience in Project Management, engineering, or construction management #LI-VM The salary range for this full-time role is $71,900.00-$95,900.01 per year. Ranges are determined based on the position, geography, client and industry experience and level, and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range reflects base salary only, and not the total compensation package. Cumming Group reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range, depending on a candidate’s experience, skills, and qualifications, including client requirements.
