Physical Medicine and RehabilitationPosition Title:Job Duties Outlined
Special interest in medical management of rehabilitation needs for patients during inpatient rehabilitation including medically complex, neurologic and orthopedic diagnoses
Collaborate with referring services and other departments as appropriate to ensure transitions across the continuum of care.
Establish a community-based consultation service at other locations as appropriate.
Provide care in ambulatory clinics for general and/or neurologic physiatry patients.
Lecture to PM&R residents and students. Attend Grand Rounds as scheduled.

Required Qualifications
Education: MD or DO.
This position requires a formal degree in the cited discipline area(s) to ensure that candidates have the foundational knowledge and skill set required to perform the duties of the position. The level of degree is based on accreditation requirements, institutional standards of academic and professional excellence, alignment with peer institution benchmarks, and contributes to the credibility and effectiveness of the role within the university community.
Certifications/Licenses:
Board Certified/ Board eligible in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
Work Experience:
Experience with medical management of rehabilitation needs for patients during inpatient rehabilitation including medically complex, neurologic or orthopedic diagnoses.
