Full Job Description
Position Summary:
Franklin Mountain Investments LLC seeks an Assistant General Counsel to provide legal support to the Chief Legal Officer and executive leadership. This role serves the company and its affiliates, with a strong emphasis on corporate transactions, real estate transactions and litigation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work directly with Chief Legal Officer and executive team on legal matters affecting business operations, transactions, and regulatory compliance.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, including those related to real estate acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and financing.
  • Manage and oversee litigation and dispute resolution, including real estate and commercial matters.
  • Conduct legal and business research; deliver clear, actionable guidance on complex legal issues.
  • Support corporate governance, acquisitions, and special projects as assigned.
  • Monitors, analyzes, and responds to legislative and regulatory developments related to the company's business activities

Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited institution.
  • Active license to practice law in Texas.
  • Minimum five years of corporate law experience, including substantial work in real estate, corporate matters and litigation; law firm or in-house experience preferred.
  • Experience reviewing, drafting and negotiating complex agreements.
  • Experience in managing outside counsel is preferred.
  • Experience in contract, corporate, licensing, real estate law, and litigation.
