The Assistant Director, Strategic Philanthropic Partnerships works closely with the Senior Director, Strategic Philanthropic Partnerships to sustain and amplify existing key strategic philanthropic partners, and identify, grow, and manage new strategic relationships to advance and achieve Institute and Division goals. The Assistant Director will work closely with the Institute's largest donor, the Pan-Mass Challenge to maximize the value and effectiveness of the working relationship and identify and implement opportunities for growth.
This position's work location is fully remote with occasional time on-campus in Brookline, MA. The selected candidate may only work remotely from a New England state (ME, VT, NH, MA, CT, RI).
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Administrative and Programmatic Support: Support leadership by assisting with correspondence, scheduling, agendas, and compiling/creating meeting materials. Serve as a main point of contact with staff in other teams on behalf of team.
Data Management: Serve as a "super user" of our databases and reporting software and demonstrate expertise with and understanding of the best uses of Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other management information, productivity, and tracking systems used by the Division of Philanthropy. Maintain confidentiality.
Communication: Compose, type, and mail correspondence, memos, and reports. Design and produce written material including charts, proposals, and presentations.

Data Analysis: Ability to collect, organize, and interpret data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can be used for decision-making.
Computer Literacy: Strong knowledge of development databases, and Microsoft Office applications, with excellent Excel skills.
Minimum Job Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required. 4+ years of relevant work experience.

The hiring range is based on market pay structures, with individual salaries determined by factors such as business needs, market conditions, internal equity, and based on the candidate's relevant experience, skills and qualifications.
For union positions, the pay range is determined by the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).
