The Position:We're looking for an experienced and passionate Assistant Director of Nursing to manage nursing neighborhoods at Hale Makua Kahului. Responsibilities include:
- Plans, assigns, supervise and evaluates nursing activities in all neighborhoods in coordination with Director of Nursing, Neighborhood Supervisors, Charge Nurses and Shift Supervisors.
- Facilitates communication and reports between shifts to enhance continuity of care.
- Communicates with families, residents, physicians, and other members of the interdisciplinary team.
- Ensures emergencies are promptly handled and reported appropriately.
Requirements:- Minimum experience of 3 years as a Registered Nurse required, including some supervisory experience.
- At least one year each of acute hospital and long term care experience preferred.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current unencumbered license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Hawaii required.
