Responsibilities:- Provide administrative support to the Director of Nursing, including supervision of nursing staff, development of policies and procedures, and implementation of quality improvement initiatives
- Assist in the development and management of the nursing budget, including labor and non-labor expenses
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators, such as census, revenue, and quality metrics
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to address patient care needs and concerns
- Provide guidance and support to nursing staff, including orientation, training, and coaching
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and accreditation requirements
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and develop strategies to reduce re-hospitalization rates
Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a leadership role in a skilled nursing facility
- Active RN license in the state of Illinois REQUIRED
- Ability to workFlexible scheduling, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
- Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred, but not required
