Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) - Center Home for Hispanic Elderly

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and compassionate Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our team at Center Home for Hispanic Elderly in Chicago, Illinois. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our skilled nursing facility, providing exceptional care and support to our residents, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support to the Director of Nursing, including supervision of nursing staff, development of policies and procedures, and implementation of quality improvement initiatives
  • Assist in the development and management of the nursing budget, including labor and non-labor expenses
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators, such as census, revenue, and quality metrics
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to address patient care needs and concerns
  • Provide guidance and support to nursing staff, including orientation, training, and coaching
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and accreditation requirements
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and develop strategies to reduce re-hospitalization rates

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a leadership role in a skilled nursing facility
  • Active RN license in the state of Illinois REQUIRED
  • Ability to workFlexible scheduling, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
