Job Description
Position Summary:
The Assistant Director of Marketing leads the School's integrated marketing initiatives designed to strengthen brand awareness, support enrollment, and promote academic programs, events, and strategic initiatives. This position oversees marketing planning, website strategy, recruitment marketing, advertising, and campaign execution.
Key Functions and Expected Performance:
Marketing Strategy • Develop integrated marketing campaigns supporting School priorities. • Execute annual marketing plans. • Collaborate with Enrollment Management on graduate recruitment marketing. • Coordinate marketing across multiple campuses and program locations. • Develop and maintain a content calendar for digital and social channels in support of School marketing priorities. • Partner with academic departments and program directors to gather content and ensure marketing materials accurately reflect current program offerings.
Website Strategy • Lead strategy and governance for the School website. • Improve user experience and conversion. • Oversee content architecture. • Coordinate major website redesigns. • Monitor analytics and recommend improvements.
Ensure website and digital marketing materials comply with university accessibility standards
Recruitment Marketing • Develop recruitment collateral. • Support graduate program launches. • Coordinate advertising campaigns. • Produce print and digital marketing materials. • Support email marketing and CRM campaigns (e.g., SLATE) for prospective student communications. • Support domestic and international recruitment initiatives.
Event Marketing • Develop marketing plans for conferences, symposiums, lectures, admissions events, and major announcements. • Coordinate promotional campaigns. • Produce event collateral. • Analytics • Manages analytics and reporting (including GA4) across social and digital channels, surfacing insights and recommendations for the Director • Research peer institution marketing practices and emerging digital trends to inform campaign recommendations.
Supervisory Relationships: This role does not entail direct supervisory responsibilities for full-time or part-time staff members. This position reports directly to the Director of Marketing and Communications.
Education and Certifications Education: Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field required
