Assistant Director of Human Resources to serve as a trusted advisor to leadership-aligning business objectives with people strategies across the organization. This role blends hands-on HR leadership with forward-thinking program design, ensuring continuity of daily HR operations while advancing performance-based, employee-centric initiatives.
What You'll Do - Design, enhance, and implement key HR programs including performance management, succession planning, recognition, classification and compensation, and retention strategies.
- Partner with leaders at all levels to ensure benefits, policies, and HR initiatives are compliant, consistent, and clearly communicated across the organization.
- Support the Director of Human Resources in the administration and oversight of core HR functions, including policies, timekeeping, benefits, leave administration, and employee relations.
- Create and manage internal HR dashboards, audit timekeeping systems, and prepare workforce metrics and reports for leadership decision-making.
- Lead employee relations investigations, ensuring fair, timely, and compliant resolution and follow-up actions.
- Oversee competitive compensation strategy design and performance-based incentive tools that align with organizational goals.
- Serve as the HR Department lead in the absence of the Director, ensuring seamless continuity of HR operations and support.
What We're Looking For Education - Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (required)
Experience - Five (5) years of progressively responsible Human Resources experience (required)
- Experience in benefits administration, performance management, classification and compensation, and retention initiatives (preferred)
