Qualifications

• Extensive HVAC, electrical, and mechanical experience required.
• High level knowledge of plumbing, ice machines, and chillers needed.
• Strong understanding of fire systems essential.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills necessary.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays is a must.
• 3-5 years of hotel engineering experience strongly preferred.
• Previous experience in a convention service hotel is a plus.
• Experience managing a crew of 20 or more required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Engineering Services with preventative maintenance logkeeping and project assignments.
• Support procurement of supplies and issuance of purchase orders under the Director's guidance.
• Review and prioritize work orders for operational efficiency.
• Maintain accurate inventories of energy and maintenance supplies.
• Address guest requests promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with Engineering staff on-shift to ensure smooth operations.
• Take full responsibility for the Engineering Department in the Director's absence.
