OverviewSupports the development and execution of business and marketing plans for assigned Energy & Devices categories, including Industrial Batteries, Devices & Components, Automation Products, and Building Materials. Assists in driving sales growth initiatives, inventory management, PSI forecasting, pricing analysis, marketing programs, lead generation activities, and overall business operations. Collaborates closely with the PCI sales team, brand team, factories, and Panasonic North American counterparts to support business activities, gather market intelligence, coordinate projects, and provide sales and marketing support. Assists with customer-facing activities, market analysis, business reporting, product management initiatives, and commercial programs that support category growth and profitability. Serves as a key liaison between Panasonic Canada, manufacturing partners, and North American stakeholders to facilitate communication, support business initiatives, coordinate cross-functional activities, share market and business insights, and ensure the timely execution of commercial and marketing programs that drive alignment and support business objectives.
This is a full-time position.
This position is hybrid. Any office-based work will be performed from our Mississauga office at Ambler Drive.

ResponsibilitiesWHAT YOU'LL DO:- Monitor sales, profitability, expenses, inventory levels, forecast accuracy, and business plan performance across assigned Energy & Devices categories.
- Prepare and present monthly business reviews highlighting key wins, losses, challenges, opportunities, and achievement against business objectives.
- Develop business cases, recommend growth strategies, report on tactical execution of strategic initiatives, and provide updates on ongoing projects.
- Coordinate marketing programs and promotional activities, including digital campaigns, website content, product launches, trade shows, customer presentations, brochures, and lead generation initiatives.
- Track and analyze marketing campaign performance, measure effectiveness, and prepare reports with recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Support product management activities, including product lifecycle management, pricing analysis, competitive reviews, product roadmap planning, product information maintenance, quotation preparation, and profitability analysis.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis, monitor industry trends, customer requirements, and regulatory developments, and provide actionable insights and recommendations to management.
- Partner with sales teams to support target market development, opportunity tracking, quotation requests, contract management, customer presentations, and the creation of sales and marketing materials.
- Coordinate with factories and Panasonic North American counterparts to obtain product information, pricing, technical documentation, certifications, business updates, and best practices, while communicating Canadian market requirements.
- Collaborate with logistics, sales administration, finance, marketing, and other internal stakeholders to support customer requirements, inventory planning, rebate programs, commissions, credit notes, commercial initiatives, and overall business operations.
QualificationsMUST-HAVES:- College or University degree (3- or 4-year Bachelor's) in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-4 years of related business, marketing, product management, or sales support experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
- Knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems is considered an asset.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to follow established procedures and develop customized solutions from multiple options.
WHAT YOU'LL EARN:The annual salary range for this position is
$77,000 - $85,000 CAD.
In addition, the position of
Assistant Business Manager - Energy and Building Solutions is eligible for a maximum annual bonus of
10% of the base salary based on achievement of predetermined objectives.
Actual compensation offered to the selected incumbent will vary depending on the individual's knowledge, skills and experience related to the role.
