Assistant Beach Programs ManagerWhat You Will Do- Supports implementation of programs developed to elevate the Hilton Head Island beach experience;
- Establishes and maintains effective partnerships with Town departments, contracted service providers, governmental agencies, environmental organizations, and volunteer groups;
- Executes daily and seasonal beach program operations, ensuring consistent delivery of services aligned with Town policies and standards;
- Monitors performance of lifeguard services, Beach Ambassadors, environmental programs, and contracted service providers;
- Implements environmental stewardship activities;
- Coordinates on-site responses to operational issues, safety concerns, and conditions requiring immediate attention;
- Supports the deployment and testing of safety technologies;
- Monitors and supports beach accessibility programs;
- Ensures beach rules, safety messages, and program guidance are delivered consistently across signage, on-site materials, and public interaction.
- Conducts field inspections of all beach facilities;
- Serves as the primary field liaison to Town departments, contractors, partner agencies, and volunteer groups during program execution;
- Participates in pre-season and post-season coordination meetings;
- Identifies recurring operational issues and recommends corrective actions;
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree and three (3) years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Valid Driver's License; and
- May be required to work a varied schedule.

Pay Range: $88,600 - $97,500 per year
