What You'll Do- Serve as the principal AI technical advisor supporting AI education, workforce development, and mission-focused training initiatives.
- Collaborate with IG Labs researchers and engineers to identify emerging AI technologies and translate them into workforce development opportunities.
- Help define the skills, competencies, and certification standards required for an AI-ready workforce.
- Guide the development of curriculum, labs, simulations, and practical exercises focused on real-world AI applications.
- Provide technical leadership across topics including:
- Generative AI
- Large Language Models (LLMs)
- Agentic AI
- Machine Learning
- Deep Learning
- Data Science
- AI Governance and Responsible AI
- MLOps and AI Operations
- Cybersecurity and AI
- Ensure training content remains aligned with current industry advancements, government AI strategies, and operational mission requirements.
- Develop mission-relevant use cases demonstrating how AI can be applied to solve real-world challenges.
- Support AI demonstrations, workshops, technical exchanges, and customer engagements.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and provide recommendations regarding future workforce development and training priorities.
- Contribute thought leadership supporting IntelliGenesis' AI strategy, innovation initiatives, and workforce transformation efforts.
Required Qualifications:- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related technical discipline.
- 10+ years of experience in artificial intelligence, machine learning, data science, advanced analytics, or related technical fields.
- Demonstrated experience applying AI technologies to operational, mission, research, or business challenges.
- Experience with large language models, retrieval augmented generation (RAG), agentic AI architectures, AI orchestration frameworks, or autonomous systems.
- Familiarity with Responsible AI, AI governance, and emerging federal AI policies.
- Strong understanding of modern AI methodologies, architectures, and workflows.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
Desired Qualifications:- Master's degree or PhD in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
- Experience supporting Department of Defense, Intelligence Community, or Federal Government organizations.
- Experience developing technical training, certifications, workshops, or workforce development programs.
- Published research, conference presentations, patents, or demonstrated contributions to AI innovation initiatives.
Compensation Range: $185,000 - $215,000
Compensation ranges encompass a total compensation package and are a general guideline only and not intended as a guaranteed and/or implied final compensation or salary for this job opening. Determination of official compensation or salary relies on several different factors including, but not limited to: level of position, complexity of job responsibilities, geographic location, candidate's scope of relevant work experience, educational background, certifications, contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements and alignment with local market data.
