Salary Range: $78,000.00 to $98,000.00

The Role
Responsible for the day-to-day activities of the radiology section and the surveillance physical program. Contact is maintained with Staff Physicians regarding testing and x-ray needs, with other sections within the Medical department to coordinate examination schedules, and with outside practitioners and vendors as necessary. Responsible for supervising the medical X-ray section, which performs radiographs, pulmonary function tests, electrocardiographs and manages the medical surveillance exam unit which medically qualifies employees as required by regulations. Oversees the medical surveillance program to ensure proper and timely completion of physicals in accordance with OSHA, Company, and NAVSEA requirements. Radiographs patients with industrial injuries, surveillance examinations, and retired employees at the request of their family doctors. Operates the pulmonary spirometric, administers pulmonary function testing and interprets the results; performs electrocardiographs (EKGs) as required.
Role-X-Ray Technologist/Adminstrative Functional Support (hybrid position) 50% of your day in both areas
This position requires the ability to transistion between radiology and administrative responsibilities based on clinic needs and patient volumes, as well as staffing. Provide front-desk and administrative support to the clinic as needed.
Must Have
9 Years with Bachelor's in Science; 7 Years with Master's; 4 Years with PhD.
-graduate of an accredited Radologic Technology program.
-Current and active ARRT certification/registration.
-Current Virginia state license
-Ability to perform both clinicalradiology duties and administrative functional support responsibilities
