The ARMO Supervisor assembles complex components per assembly drawings / bill of material. This role will perform functional testing on assemblies per customer and/or division criteria as well as operate test equipment in compliance with engineering standards.
As an ARMO Supervisor, you will be responsible for:Maintenance and Repair:
- Perform preventive, routine, and breakdown maintenance on flexible pipe systems and associated equipment.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues, determining the necessary repairs or replacements.
- Execute maintenance tasks in accordance with standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
Asset Inspection and Testing:
- Conduct regular inspections of assets to identify potential issues or areas for improvement.
- Perform functional and pressure testing of equipment to ensure operational readiness.
- Document findings and report any significant issues to the ARMO Shop Manager.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and parts usage.
- Prepare and submit maintenance logs, service reports, and other required documentation to the ARMO Shop Manager.
- Assist in tracking inventory levels of spare parts and tools.
Compliance and Safety:
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while performing maintenance tasks.
- Ensure that all maintenance activities comply with relevant industry standards and company policies.
- Participate in safety meetings and training sessions as required.
Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with the ARMO Shop Manager and other team members to prioritize and complete maintenance tasks.
Strong Leadership Skills:
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior technicians when needed.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by offering feedback on processes and procedures.
Fuel your passionTo be successful in this role you will:
- Have experience in maintenance or repair roles, preferably in marine or industrial environments.
- Possess strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on technical skills, demonstrating proficiency in using maintenance tools, diagnostic equipment, and software.
- Possess good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Be hydraulic trained, used to controlling pressures up to 20k psi on small bore tubing, capable of running a HPU, diagnosing faults and be able to build a hydraulic system circuit, pipe, fittings, hoses.
- Be able to explain how to test a SCM and purpose of a SEM and DCVs.
- Be able to fault find an electrical circuit, test electrical harnesses, connectors etc.
- Be confident to run an ETU, laptop config engine to control the testing
- Possess hyperbaric experience
- Understand and have familiarity with ISO 13628-6 and API17F
- Be able to use PAMAS / cleanliness check device.
- Able to write JSAs / risk assessments / COSHH assessments.
- Have experience in stripping down SCMs and rebuilding
