Dewberry’s Architecture Team is seeking a energetic Project Manager with well-rounded experience to join our Richmond, VA office.  Experience in Federal, State and Local Governments, Community Facilities, Civic and Justice building types is desirable. Must have a professional degree, Bachelor of Architecture or Master of Architecture degree from an accredited university and have a minimum of 10-years post graduate work experience and must be licensed.

• Professional Architecture degree from an accredited University is required.
• Licensed Architect required, with ability for reciprocal licensure in additional states.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience is required.
• Demonstrated ability to lead project teams, clients, consultants, and contractors.
• Collaborative approach to all aspects of the practice.
• Expert knowledge of local code requirements and ability to efficiently interface with agencies having jurisdiction, as required.
• Responsible for developing project scope, fees and managing project budget, client/consultant invoices, agreements, and contracts.
• Comfortable and experienced to participate in Business Development and marketing activities.
• Responsible for managing project team resources; advises Office Operations Director of schedules and staffing resource needs.
• Develops proposals with assistance of PIC and/or Office Director; takes part in client interviews and development of marketing pursuits.
• Reviews and confirms document accuracy for client(s), consultant(s) and project team(s).
• Responsible for projects compliance with Dewberry QMS processes; evaluates and assures review recommendations are implemented; pledges that “lessons learned” are communicated to all staff.
• A design portfolio demonstrating experience will be required.

The projected range for this position is $110,000-$158,000 annually. Depending upon other factors, i.e., skills, experience, location, market conditions, the range may vary slightly.

Must have a valid driver’s license, good driving record and ability to pass a driving record background check.
