Full Job Description
Role Overview
We are seeking a Lead Architect / Staff Engineer to spearhead the architecture, development, and operationalization of our next-generation enterprise applications and Agentic AI Platform on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). In this role, you will bridge the gap between legacy application modernization (AppMod) and cutting-edge autonomous agent workflows.
You will design scalable distributed systems, define enterprise-wide application architecture patterns, establish robust CI/CD and MLOps/LLMOps pipelines, and build developer platforms that allow cross-functional teams to securely build, deploy, and monitor multi-agent systems and modern cloud-native workloads. Key Responsibilities 1. Agentic Platform & AI Engineering
Architecture & Orchestration: Architect resilient, scalable frameworks for multi-agent orchestration, tool-use execution environments, agentic memory systems (vector search, episodic/semantic caching), and cognitive architectures (ReAct, Plan-and-Solve).
LLMOps & Governance: Implement enterprise guardrails, prompt evaluation pipelines, automated red-teaming, cost/token tracking, rate-limiting, and observability across model endpoints.
Model Integration: Design modular interfaces to integrate foundation models via Google Vertex AI (Gemini, open-source models via Model Garden), external APIs, and fine-tuned domain models.
Legacy Decoupling: Lead the refactoring and modernization of monolithic architectures into event-driven, containerized microservices and service meshes.
API & Integration Design: Design high-throughput, low-latency RESTful and gRPC APIs, GraphQL gateways, and asynchronous event streams using Pub/Sub and Kafka.
Resilience & Scalability: Define standards for distributed state management, idempotent processing, circuit breakers, and fault tolerance across hybrid and multi-region deployments.
