SummaryAGAT Laboratories is currently looking for an Application Infrastructure Administrator. The Application Infrastructure Administrator is responsible for the hosting, deployment, configuration, security, and operational support of internally developed enterprise applications.
Working closely with software developers, project managers, infrastructure teams, security teams, and business users, this position ensures applications are reliably deployed, maintained, secured, and supported across development, testing, staging, and production environments.
The role has a strong focus on Microsoft IIS application hosting, deployment automation, release management, TFS and Azure DevOps administration, troubleshooting, and production support.
What you will be doing:- Design, implement, and maintain automated application build, deployment, and release processes.
- Create, configure, and maintain application environments across development, testing, staging, and production.
- Host and support ASP.NET, .NET, Angular, and React applications.
- Configure and administer Microsoft IIS websites, application pools, bindings, certificates, authentication settings, and related hosting components.
- Plan, coordinate, execute, and validate application deployments and software releases.
- Administer TFS and Azure DevOps, including projects, repositories, permissions, branching structures, build pipelines, release pipelines, and related configurations.
- Work with development teams to improve source-control, build, deployment, and release practices.
- Configure and maintain environment-specific application settings, service accounts, permissions, authentication, and authorization.
- Support application integrations with APIs, file shares, network services, and other enterprise systems.
- Manage application storage locations, configuration files, and other environment-specific resources.
- Monitor and troubleshoot application availability, deployment failures, performance issues, connectivity problems, and production incidents.
- Provide operational and production support for internally developed business applications.
- Investigate incidents, contribute to root-cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventative actions.
- Coordinate infrastructure requirements and changes with networking, security, server, and other technical teams.
- Maintain deployment documentation, application environment records, configuration information, operational procedures, and support documentation.
- Assist with platform upgrades, application migrations, infrastructure modernization, and security improvements.
- Identify and implement improvements to deployment automation, application reliability, environment consistency, and operational support.
What you bring to the table:- Hands on experience in hosting and supporting ASP.NET, .NET, Angular, and React applications.
- Background in configuring and administering applications hosted on Microsoft IIS and Windows Server.
- Track record of designing, implementing, and maintaining automated build and deployment processes.
- Skilled in administering TFS or Azure DevOps.
- Experience managing source-control repositories, project permissions, branching structures, build pipelines, and release pipelines.
- Demonstrated ability in supporting applications across development, testing, staging, and production environments.
- Strong understanding of source control, continuous integration, automated deployment, and release-management practices.
- Experience configuring application authentication, service accounts, access permissions, certificates, and environment-specific settings.
- Demonstrated proficiency in troubleshooting application, server, deployment, permissions, and connectivity issues.
- Experience providing operational or production support for business-critical applications.
- Ability to create and maintain clear technical documentation and operational procedures.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with developers, infrastructure specialists, project managers, security teams, vendors, and business users.
- Relevant post-secondary education in information technology, computer science, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
