Under direction of the Information Technology Supervisor II, the Information Technology Specialist I (ITS I) serves as an Access / SQL database expert providing lead technical and programming support for current Access and SQL databases and provides lead technical and project support for Accountings ongoing initiative to modernize and convert Accountings 100+ Access databases to SQL. This position also provides desktop support for in house and teleworking users along with serving as a technical expert in the design and maintenance of CDTFA's Financial Management Systems interfaces and automated processes, including the Financial Information System of California (FISCal) and CROS. The incumbent will serve as a technical expert on financial management system projects.
