Application Developer/Reverse EngineerAn active TS//SCI clearance with polygraph is required for this role About this RoleWe're looking for a talented Application Developer and Reverse Engineer to join our team as a general-purpose Software Engineer supporting up-and-coming projects where you'll design, develop, prototype, modify, and integrate solutions that deliver mission-centric results. You'll work closely with analysts, operators, data scientists, and other software engineers to provide direct tactical support to our intelligence community customers.
In this role, you will:
- Augment existing toolsets to enhance mission capabilities
- Derive, document, and analyze requirements from stakeholders and operators
- Produce end-to-end toolsets that operate within mission constraints and deliver real-world impact
- Take part in peer code reviews to identify and reduce defects before they reach the field
- Build prototypes to validate your understanding of mission requirements and demonstrate feasibility
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you'll need:
- 12 years of software engineering experience (or 10 years with a Master's degree; alternatively, 4 years of additional SWE experience may substitute for a bachelor's degree)
- Proficiency in producing and modifying software systems in C/C++, Python, and Assembly
- In-depth understanding of network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP) and hands-on experience analyzing network traffic (e.g., Wireshark)
- Ability to provide support for fielded software systems in production environments
- Solid familiarity with Git and Subversion version control systems
- Practical experience with Atlassian Tools (Jira, Confluence)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field (or equivalent professional experience as noted above)
Preferred SkillsWe'd love to see experience with:
- Reverse engineering Windows or embedded platforms (RTOS)
- Developing CNO-specific software in Windows, Linux, or embedded applications
- Any of the following programming languages: Java, JavaScript, Bash, PowerShell, Perl, C#, or Rust
- Vulnerability research and exploit development
- Knowledge of end-to-end SIGINT collection and analysis systems

Salary Range$287,500 - $338,000
This range includes our flex income and depends upon your annual work hours.
Salary is determined on an individual basis following the interview process and considering various factors such as years of experience, skills, education, and certifications.
