Job Summary
The Appian Developer will design, develop, and maintain scalable Appian applications supporting a unified fraud case management ecosystem. The role will focus on Appian interfaces, process models, records, business rules, integrations, workflow automation, and case management capabilities. The developer will collaborate with business and technology teams throughout the software development lifecycle while leveraging AI-assisted development practices to improve efficiency, quality, and operational effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Appian applications supporting fraud case management.
• Develop Appian interfaces, process models, records, business rules, and integrations supporting fraud operations and investigative workflows.
• Build secure, resilient, and high-performing solutions that meet enterprise availability, compliance, and operational requirements.
• Develop APIs and integrations connecting Appian applications with enterprise systems and services.
• Participate in solution design discussions and contribute to application design and platform best practices.
• Develop and implement complex Appian features, workflows, and platform capabilities.
• Perform peer reviews and contribute to engineering best practices, code quality, and maintainability.
• Follow and improve standards for testing, performance optimization, resiliency, and supportability.
• Identify opportunities for reuse, automation, and continuous improvement across the platform.
• Partner with Product Owners, business stakeholders, architects, and engineers to deliver business value.
• Participate in planning, estimation, development, testing, deployment, and support activities throughout the SDLC.
• Collaborate across technology and business teams to implement case management capabilities.
• Support technical alignment with platform standards and modernization initiatives.
• Utilize AI-assisted development tools to improve development efficiency, testing, documentation, and troubleshooting.
• Identify opportunities to leverage AI capabilities to improve investigator workflows and operational efficiency.
• Translate business requirements into scalable Appian solutions.
• Contribute to iterative delivery and continuous improvement through user feedback, operational insights, and platform best practices.
Required Qualifications
• 5-8+ years of Appian development experience.
• Experience with fraud and case management systems.
• Experience with quality assurance and test automation.
• Experience working within Agile frameworks.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools and engineering practices.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
