APP Specialist (PA or NP)

Department of Urology

The Department of Urology in the Joe R. & Teresa Lozano Long School of Medicine at UT Health in San Antonio is recruiting an Advanced Practice Provider (PA or NP) for a clinical faculty position, to join an active and growing multidisciplinary clinical program. While previous experience in urology is desired, we will also have strong consideration for applicants who have little or no experience but are motivated and have a strong desire to learn and become part of our fast-paced urology team.

Responsibilities will include providing inpatient and outpatient clinical services, direct patient care, and pre/post-operative work-up and patient education. Inpatient service will include working with our inpatient resident team, floor rounds, emergency room, and hospital consults. All of our clinical faculty are actively involved in patient care but also have opportunities for additional academic growth in areas such as research, and student education.
