Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant - Radiology & Interventional Radiology
New York Health/Imaging | Patchogue, NY
Schedule: Monday-Friday

In this role, you will:
  • Supervise and monitor patients receiving radiology contrast, promptly assessing and addressing concerns or reactions.
  • Conduct pre-procedure calls to review instructions, answer questions, and assess patient readiness.
  • Follow up with patients after procedures to assess recovery, identify potential complications, and reinforce aftercare instructions.
  • Assist with IV placement for imaging studies and procedures as needed.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, patient communication, procedure notes, and interventions.

We're looking for:
  • A master's degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies.
  • Active New York State licensure as an NP or PA and applicable national certification.
  • Strong patient assessment, communication, and care coordination skills.
  • The ability to work independently and collaboratively in a procedural setting.
  • Availability to work Monday through Friday, 11:00 AM-7:00 PM.
  • The ability to assist with patient lifting, movement, and transfers and stand for extended periods, with or without reasonable accommodation.
