Hem/Onc APP Hospitalist - Logan Health Medical Center (Kalispell, MT)
Position OverviewThe Hem/Onc APP Hospitalist will work closely with our oncology physicians, inpatient hospitalist team, nursing staff, and multidisciplinary cancer care program to deliver compassionate, evidence-based care to adult inpatient oncology patients. This role focuses on continuity, coordination, and clinical excellence within a nationally recognized regional medical center.
What You'll Do- 7 on / 7off schedule with night call (nights by phone only)
- Monday - Friday Symptom Support clinic giving same-day access to established hem/onc patients
- Daily rounding, ongoing patient management, and discharges for hospitalized hem/onc patients
- Collaborate with oncology physicians and the inpatient hospitalist service
- Assist with care planning, symptom management, and supportive therapies
- Participate in coordination of care with outpatient cancer services
- Contribute to quality initiatives and program development
What We're Looking For- NP or PA with current Montana licensure (or ability to obtain)
- Experience in Hematology/Oncology or Hospital Medicine preferred
- Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and team-based care skills
