Position Highlights
Opportunity Highlights:
- Practice at FirstHealth’s flagship campus – 402 bed acute care regional referral center.
- Provide comprehensive care to critically ill patients in med-neuro, coronary care, and CVT units.
- Enjoy a high degree of autonomy and professional satisfaction.
- Average census of 28 patients is split between 2 Physicians and 2 APPs per shift. Swing shift support. Nights covered by experienced APP.
- Block schedule, 14 shifts per month.

Qualifications
- 2+ years of Advanced Practice experience in a critical care setting is required.
- PA must be a graduate of an AMA approved Physician Assistant program and have NCCPA certification. NP must be a graduate of a Nurse Practitioner Education program and have national certification.
- Must be able to exercise a high degree of initiative, judgment, and discretion in decision making.
- Clean background, NC license, NC DEA, and AHA ACLS certification required.
