Anesthesiologist

Job Description

Morlen health is seeking a Board Certified or Eligible Anesthesiologist to join the team in Portland, Oregon. The ideal candidate will have the ability to provide high-quality, comprehensive care. You will join an integrated and compassionate team of physicians, CRNAs and supportive clinical and administrative staff.

What You Can Expect:
  • Anesthesia care team model with a combination of medical supervision and sitting your own cases
  • You will provide coverage at 3-4 locations, OB at two sites, with a primary home base
  • No 24hr call; 1:23 night call ratio; 1 weekend every 2 months
  • Shift lengths are variable; Current shifts range 6-14hrs
  • Cases include neuro/spine, vascular, ENT, ortho, general surgery, plastics, urology, thoracic, robot, spinal, epidural, OB, non-OR sites, and pediatric opportunities. No hearts or trauma

Minimum Requirements:
  • Prefer a minimum of three years post-residency experience but will consider candidates with less
  • You must have essential skills including the ability to work independently in the operating room and frequently provide solo, one-on-one care to patients with multiple co-morbidities and complex medical conditions as well as strong skills in invasive clinical monitoring


Your Total Rewards:

The annual salary for this position is $541,000-$610,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as an applicant's skills and qualifications, education and certifications, training, relevant clinical experience, market data, geographic location, internal equity, FTE, and other job-related factors.

In addition to base pay, Morlen Health offers a comprehensive benefits package for eligible employees that includes medical, dental, and vision coverage; retirement benefits; paid time off; paid holidays; and other benefits and programs. Specific details are below, and specific plan information is available upon request.
  • Base salary range: $508,000-$577,300
  • Lifestyle Stipend: $33,400 annually
  • Relocation allowance available
