What You'll Do As an Ancillary Manager, you'll oversee the operation, maintenance, planning, and scheduling of all ancillary and auxiliary equipment supporting plant operations. You'll work closely with maintenance teams, facility leadership, and operations personnel to improve equipment reliability, coordinate maintenance activities, and ensure safe and efficient plant performance.

In this role, you will:
  • Oversee operation and maintenance activities for all ancillary and auxiliary systems
  • Review, prioritize, and plan non-emergency maintenance work orders
  • Develop integrated maintenance schedules for preventive maintenance and repair activities
  • Coordinate labor, tools, equipment, materials, and contractor support for maintenance work
  • Ensure equipment, tools, and supplies are available to respond to emergency situations
  • Work with Facility Managers to prioritize maintenance activities and allocate resources effectively
  • Monitor maintenance work completion and ensure accurate documentation of completed work orders
  • Conduct post-job reviews and support continuous improvement of maintenance programs
  • Support equipment reliability initiatives and recommend improvements to maintenance and inventory practices
  • Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and waste-handling procedures
  • Lead and support continuous training initiatives for ancillary operators and maintenance personnel
  • Promote Lean manufacturing practices including 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement activities
  • Maintain safe operations and enforce company safety procedures and regulations


Requirements

What We're Looking For We're seeking a hands-on maintenance and operations leader with strong technical knowledge, planning skills, and experience supporting industrial plant operations.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum five (5) years of relevant maintenance, facilities, or industrial operations experience
  • Experience with CMMS systems and maintenance planning software
  • Strong understanding of industrial utility and ancillary systems
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lead teams and coordinate cross-functional maintenance activities
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to respond to operational needs in a 24/7 manufacturing environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Facilities Operating Engineer License preferred
  • Experience supporting large-scale manufacturing or industrial facilities
  • Experience with preventive maintenance programs and equipment reliability initiatives
  • Experience leading maintenance or facilities teams in a manufacturing environment


Your Work Schedule

This is a full-time, exempt position working Monday through Friday, day shift. Additional hours and on-call support may be required based on operational and maintenance needs.

$82,000-$100,000 per year
