Qualifications

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree
• Active (or eligible) license in Alaska
• Patient-first mindset and strong clinical judgment
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Collaborative, team-oriented approach

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive eye exams and exceptional patient experiences
• Diagnose, treat, and manage ocular conditions and vision needs
• Prescribe glasses and contact lenses with confidence and accuracy
• Provide medical optometry care, including pharmaceuticals
• Deliver pre- and post-operative care for surgical patients
• Identify systemic health concerns and coordinate care as needed
• Educate patients on managing their eye health
