To support these efforts, we're looking for a Sales Planning Analyst who can help turn data into actionable insights that improve decision-making and support sales execution across the organization.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, identifying trends, and helping teams better understand business performance. The Sales Planning Analyst will support sales reporting, retail analytics, customer insights, and planning processes that help sales leadership make informed decisions and prioritize opportunities effectively.
The most successful person in this role combines analytical thinking with strong business curiosity. They proactively identify trends, improve reporting processes, and help translate complex data into clear and actionable recommendations for the business. This role will work closely with Sales, Sales Operations, Demand Planning, and Marketing to improve visibility into performance and support strategic growth initiatives.
SUCCESS FACTORS (FIRST 12-18 MONTHS)- Business Insights Contributor: You've become a trusted source of business insights by delivering clear, accurate, and actionable reporting that helps sales leadership understand performance, identify opportunities, and make informed decisions. Your ability to connect data to business context improves visibility across customers, channels, and categories.
- Reporting & Dashboard Owner: You've streamlined and improved recurring reports and dashboards to make information easier to access and understand. By making reporting more consistent, accurate, and easier to maintain, you've reduced manual work and helped teams feel more confident using the data.
- Retail & Customer Analytics Partner: You've improved how the organization evaluates retail performance by building and maintaining reporting that highlights sales trends, distribution gains, promotional effectiveness, assortment opportunities, and customer performance. Your analysis helps sales teams prioritize actions and focus on the highest impact opportunities.
- Data Quality & Process Improver: You proactively identify data gaps, inconsistencies, and reporting challenges and help improve how information is maintained across systems. Through strong attention to detail and process improvement, you help create more reliable and scalable ways of working.

What You'll Bring:- 2-5 years of experience in Sales Analytics, Sales Planning, Business Analytics, or related commercial roles
- Experience in CPG, foodservice, beverage or related industries preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to translate data into business insights
- Advanced Excel skills required; experience with Power BI, Tableau, Salesforce, or other reporting tools preferred
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Based in the Flavor Factory in San Leandro, CA
Salary Range: $90,220 - $100,244
