The role requires close collaboration with structuring and trading desks, Commercial Bankers, and Treasury & Payments Solutions partners, and other internal stakeholders. The Analyst will help identify client exposures, develop tailored analyses and materials, support transaction pricing and execution, and contribute to a high-quality client experience. The position offers direct exposure to corporate treasury decision-making, financial markets, derivative products, and the end-to-end sales and transaction process.
This is a development-oriented role for a candidate who is analytical, commercially curious, detail-oriented, and motivated to take on increasing client and transaction responsibility over time.
Key Responsibilities
Senior Marketer Support: Support senior Global Markets Advisors across client coverage, opportunity development, pitch preparation, pricing, transaction execution, and post-trade follow-up for IR and FX derivative solutions.
Client Analysis: Review client financial statements, debt profiles, cash flows, international operations, transaction activity, and other information to help identify IR and FX exposures and potential hedging needs.
Market Analysis: Monitor macroeconomic and financial market developments and prepare concise market updates, scenario analyses, and client-specific observations to support client discussions
Hedging Solutions: Assist in evaluating and presenting derivative strategies, including interest rate swaps, caps, and collars, as well as FX forwards, swaps, and options. Help translate product mechanics, economics, risks, and trade-offs into clear, client-friendly materials.
Pricing and Execution Support: Coordinate with trading, credit, legal, onboarding, operations, and risk partners to obtain pricing, prepare transaction materials, validate key economics, and support timely and accurate execution.
Client Materials: Create and maintain pitch books, market updates, exposure analyses, pricing summaries, term sheets, and other marketing materials for client meetings and internal coverage discussions.
Pipeline and Client Relationship Management: Maintain accurate opportunity pipelines, client activity, next steps, and coverage metrics in applicable CRM and reporting tools. Help senior marketers in prioritizing follow-ups and identifying actionable opportunities.
Risk and Controls: Adhere to applicable policies, procedures, suitability standards, documentation requirements, internal controls, and regulatory expectations. Exercise sound judgment, escalate questions appropriately, and safeguard client and bank information.
Process Improvement: Contribute to dashboards, reporting, data quality, workflow improvements, and strategic initiatives designed to improve coverage effectiveness and the client experience.
Learning and Development: Build proficiency in IR and FX markets, derivative products, pricing concepts, credit valuation considerations, documentation, and commercial client engagement through formal training and day-to-day mentorship from senior team members.
