In the assigned Job Role of Domain Consultant 3, your Area Of Responsibility will be as below:• Perform business analysis projects using advanced techniques (e.g., predictive analytics, scenario modelling) to identify strategic opportunities within the domain, influencing long-term decisions and value chain optimization
• Perform detailed evaluations of IT solutions, leveraging domain expertise to assess effectiveness and alignment with client goals, guiding strategic technology decisions
• Create documentation for systems, ensuring precision and thoroughness, while leading efforts to articulate sophisticated technical concepts for diverse stakeholders
• Perform specialized research on third-party products, providing in-depth insights on features, performance, and integration capabilities to ensure alignment with client needs and industry standards
• Create solution architectures and develop comprehensive architectural diagrams, ensuring scalability, resilience, and integration with existing infrastructure.
• Run the technical aspects of implementation by applying domain knowledge and ensuring scalable optimal system performance. Design and execute maintenance strategies to ensure long-term system reliability

• Skilled in research, innovation adoption, and designing scalable architectures, aligned with industry standards and best practices
Required Skill and Experience• Experience in North American utilities, preferably with California or other large investor-owned electric utilities, on large-scale AMI, smart metering, grid modernization, or customer service transformation programs.
• Experience with hands-on architecture or solution leadership experience in AMI 2.0 / AMI modernization programs, including smart meter deployment, meter provisioning, meter reads, event management, exception handling, and operational processes.
• Experience with MDM and UMHES / head-end system landscapes, including practical exposure to leading AMI and HES products and their integration with CIS, billing, outage, distribution, GIS, field services, data platforms, and customer-facing channels.
• Experience & understanding of meter-to-cash business processes, customer account management, billing, rates, payments, credit and collections, service orders, field activities, and customer communications.
• Experience leading end-to-end solution design for large transformation programs involving functional, technical, data conversion, infrastructure, integration, testing, cutover, and stabilization workstreams.
• Experience and ability to define API-led, event-driven, batch, file-based, and message-based integration patterns across cloud and on-premise application ecosystems, and to bridge multiple concurrent AMI/UMHES vendor platforms within one enterprise architecture.
Preferred Skill and Experience• Ability to mentor distributed teams and operate effectively in multi-vendor, multi-location delivery environments.
• Experience in architecture governance, design reviews, issue resolution, risk management, stakeholder communication, and executive-level presentations.
Additional Required Qualifications• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.

Additional Details Estimated annual compensation range for candidate based in Los Angeles, CA will be Min $118498 to Max $154047
