What this job involves - Join JLL as our Americas Technical Services Project Management Director and drive excellence in Technical Services and Strategic Initiatives development and delivery across our premier tech client portfolio. Supporting all Americas - AMER, CAN, and LATAM. This strategic leadership role is perfect for an engineering, project management, and facilities operations professional who excels at providing executive project management leadership, managing multiple concurrent high-profile strategic programs, deep diving into technical issues, building seamless client partnerships, and leading high-performing teams across multiple countries and cultures.

You'll be the technical and project management authority ensuring world-class delivery in mechanical, electrical, IoT, critical environments, fire life safety, and asset lifecycle management while championing project management excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement initiatives that set new industry standards.

Reports to: Engineering Director of AMER Technical Services

What will your day-to-day look like?

Lead the AMER technical services and project management delivery for a flagship enterprise client account across regional sub-accounts in the US, Canada, and Latin America. This executive role combines strategic oversight with robust project governance and technical expertise across facilities engineering (MEP, FLS, Building Automation/IoT, Labs), HSSE, quality management, asset lifecycle optimization, sustainability, and business continuity planning, while driving high-performing cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional client outcomes in mission-critical environments.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Account Management
  • Serve as senior technical and project management advisor to client leadership, directing high-profile strategic initiatives, capital delivery frameworks, and account plan initiatives aligned with business objectives, while anticipating needs and responding to client issues in an expedient and professional manner.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive technical services and project management strategies across all regional sub-accounts, ensuring consistent service delivery, governance, and operational standards
  • Partner with regional account teams to identify growth opportunities and expand service offerings within existing portfolio
  • Lead periodic business reviews and technical performance assessments with client stakeholders


Operational Excellence & Service Delivery
  • Oversee AMER BCP and HSSE programs, including MOP, Work Approval, and Incident Response (AAR/RCCA) frameworks, ensuring JLL Client Assurance Program and regulatory compliance to maintain a zero-harm workplace.
  • Drive continuous improvement through innovation, JLL technologies, vendor consolidation, process standardization, and expanded service scope.
  • Optimize asset management via CMMS implementation, predictive maintenance, and lifecycle planning.
  • Ensure technical and strategic delivery compliance with KPIs, milestones, performance metrics, and client SLAs.


Specialized Technical Services
  • Oversee Technical Services support for client Building Operating System (BOS) programs, including network security remediation, operational compliance, device connectivity, BMS remote monitoring, and Fault Detection and Diagnostics (FDD).
  • Direct technical support for establishing laboratory environments, including intake processes, asset infrastructure databases, and tiered operational support models.
  • Lead technical evaluations and reviews (Project Briefs, Designs, Commissioning Plans, and Handoffs) for facility builds, upgrades, system integrations, and compliance initiatives.


Team Leadership & Development
  • Foster an inclusive, highly collaborative culture centered on innovation, operational excellence, best-practice sharing, and continuous professional growth across all regional teams.
  • Establish clear KPI benchmarks, transparent governance, and robust accountability frameworks across all technical service functions.

Required Qualifications

Education & Certifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or related technical field; Master's degree preferred
  • Professional certifications such as FMP, CFM, CPE, OSHA, environmental, or safety management certifications strongly preferred

Experience
  • Minimum 15 years progressive experience in facilities management and technical services, including 7+ years in senior leadership roles managing complex multi-regional accounts and directing strategic initiatives
  • Proven track record in global account management with P&L responsibility
  • Experience with enterprise-level CMMS platforms and asset management strategies
  • Background in regulated environments (laboratories, healthcare, manufacturing, or data centers)


Technical Competencies
  • Large-Scale Project & Program Management: Proven leadership in directing complex, multi-million-dollar capital delivery frameworks and large-scale technical projects across international accounts.
  • MEP Design Review & Engineering Oversight: Deep technical expertise in evaluating MEP designs, commissioning plans, Project Briefs, and infrastructure handoffs for facility builds and upgrades.
  • Integrated Facilities Management (IFM): Extensive background in IFM delivery, service standardization, KPI/SLA achievement, and vendor performance optimization.
  • Network & Building Controls Systems: Advanced knowledge of Building Operating Systems (BOS), BMS remote monitoring, Building Automation/IoT, network security remediation, and Fault Detection and Diagnostics (FDD).
  • Lab & Critical Environment Operations: Specialized operational command of mission-critical facilities, technical laboratory environments, intake processes, and asset database development.
  • Business Continuity Planning (BCP): Comprehensive capability in developing, testing, and maintaining BCP and disaster recovery programs to ensure operational resilience.
  • Risk, Compliance & HSSE Management: Strong expertise in risk management frameworks, HSSE regulations across multiple jurisdictions, quality management (ISO 9001/Six Sigma), and client assurance compliance.
  • Data Analytics & Asset Optimization: Proficiency in data analytics, CMMS platforms, predictive maintenance, and performance measurement tools to drive asset lifecycle management.

Estimated compensation for this position:

240,375.00 - 318,750.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
