Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Environmental, or Civil Engineering
• 7+ years of Environmental Consulting experience
• 2+ years in a supervisory role
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and basic programming
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to interpret and apply relevant laws and regulations

Responsibilities

• Direct the overall operations of the office
• Act as the primary contact for the Managing Director
• Assess staffing needs and identify training opportunities
• Provide weekly updates on office financial performance
• Conduct performance evaluations for staff
• Develop strategies to attract target clients
• Foster long-term relationships in key industry sectors
• Engage with regulatory personnel across jurisdictions
• Participate in stakeholder forums and industry groups
• Lead on complex regulatory issues and project deliverables
• Oversee Project Managers to ensure high-quality outputs
• Manage client communications and regulatory compliance tasks
• Prepare various environmental reports and permit applications
• Contribute to the development of proposals and project reports
