- A Hybrid Creator: You’re as comfortable discussing the "rule of thirds" and color theory as you are discussing latent space and seed values. You bridge the gap between traditional video editing and the frontiers of Generative AI.
- A Hands-on Maker: You enjoy working directly in a broad range of creative and production tools every day, moving ideas from prompt to polished edit and taking pride in the details that make each deliverable successful.
- A Technical Storyteller: You understand that AI is a tool, not a shortcut. You know how to coax emotion, narrative, and beauty out of an algorithm.
- A Collaborative Teammate: You enjoy sharing practical tips and workflows, learning from others, and contributing to a supportive production environment.
The work:
- Day-to-Day Production: You will create and deliver AI-assisted video content, following established workflows, project requirements, and quality standards.
- End-to-End Creation: You’ll generate high-quality AI video assets using tools such as Runway, Weavy, Gemini, Firefly, and others, then complete them through hands-on editing and post-production.
- Workflow Execution: You will use and help improve established production workflows that move projects efficiently from prompt to polished deliverable while maintaining visual consistency and temporal stability.
- Tool Exploration: You’ll test relevant new models and features, share practical findings with the team, and apply useful capabilities to active production work.
- Creative Collaboration: You’ll work with teammates and stakeholders to understand briefs, explore practical AI-supported approaches, and deliver effective creative solutions on schedule.
Here’s what you’ll need:
- The Experience: At least 2+ years in professional video production, filmmaking, or post-production, and 1+ years practical experience working with AI video tools.
- The Reel: A stellar portfolio that proves you can create AI video that looks intentional, high-budget, and narratively sound.
- Working Knowledge of the “New”: 1+ years of hands-on prompting experience across several platforms, such as Runway, Weavy, Midjourney, Gemini, or similar tools, with curiosity and willingness to continue learning.
- Strong Foundation in the “Classic”: 2+ years of experience with Adobe Creative Suite tools such as Premiere and After Effects, with experience in DaVinci Resolve or similar post-production tools a bonus. You understand how thoughtful editing and finishing strengthen AI-generated work.
- Technical Fluency: 1+ years of experience in AI Video production understanding of frames, resolutions, aspect ratios, and how to troubleshoot the quirks of generative video.
Bonus points if:
- Agency Veteran: You’ve spent time in the advertising world and know how to navigate brand guidelines and tight deadlines.
- The "Heavy" Tools: You have experience with ComfyUI, Stable Diffusion, or creating custom LoRAs for character consistency.
- The Big and Small Screens: You have a background in Film/TV production and/or have managed large-scale social media campaigns with millions of views.
- Multi-Disciplinary: You have experience with 3D tools (Blender/Unreal) or AI-assisted audio production.
