Estimated Pay Range: $120,000.00 - $145,000.00
Job Summary:
Air Treatment Corporation (ATC) is looking for an experienced, hands-on AI Solutions Engineer to own how artificial intelligence gets adopted across our business. You will set the AI roadmap with leadership, design and deploy production-grade automation and AI tooling integrated with our core systems and build the internal capability of our team. This is a high-autonomy role for a proven builder: you will be the company's AI subject-matter expert, and your judgment will shape where we invest and what we ship.
You do not need HVAC industry experience on day one - you need a track record of taking AI and automation solutions from idea to reliable, adopted, production use in a real business.
Duties/Responsibilities:
1.AI Strategy & Roadmap
• Partner with leadership and department heads to map workflows and identify high-value AI and automation opportunities across operations, sales, and field service
• Build and maintain a prioritized AI roadmap based on business impact, feasibility, ROI, and team readiness
• Evaluate vendors, platforms, and build-vs-buy tradeoffs; manage related budgets and subscriptions
• Present recommendations, results, and ROI to leadership in clear business terms
2. Design, Build & Operate AI Solutions
• Architect and deploy production AI solutions: automation workflows, AI agents, chatbots, and data pipelines
• Integrate AI tooling with ATC's existing systems (CRM, ERP, email, scheduling, field service management) via APIs and middleware
• Ensure compliance with security, ethical standards and data privacy regulations in all AI applications.
• Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in AI technologies and methodologies to ensure adoption and direct relevance over time.
3. Build Organizational Capability
• Develop the training program and run hands-on enablement sessions for ATC staff at all levels.
• Champion a culture of experimentation and continuous improvement with AI.
• Serve as the company-wide subject-matter expert for AI strategy, tools, and governance.
• Mentor and coach colleagues, including potential future junior technical hires.
Requirements
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 4+ years of professional experience in software development, automation engineering, data engineering, or AI/ML implementation.
• Demonstrated track record of designing, deploying, and maintaining AI or automation solutions in production business environments; candidates should be prepared to discuss specific deployed solutions and their measurable impact.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL, with experience working with APIs, webhooks, and system integrations.
• Hands-on experience with modern AI platforms and frameworks (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic/Claude, Microsoft Copilot, LangChain, or similar) and workflow automation tools (e.g., Zapier, Make, Power Automate).
• Experience integrating business systems such as CRM, ERP, or field service management platforms is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of data governance, security best practices and responsible AI principles.
• Experience supporting organizations with distribution, manufacturing, construction, industrial services, or similar operational environments is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to operate independently, define solutions for complex or ambiguous business challenges, establish priorities, and deliver results for senior leadership.
• Experience leading technology adoption, process improvement, or change management initiatives with small to mid-sized organizations is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into practical business solutions for executives,
managers, and non-technical stakeholders.
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods while working at a computer.
• Frequent use of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment.
• Capability to communicate effectively in person and via digital platforms.
• Occasional need to move or transport items weighing up to 25 pounds, such as computers and relevant office supplies.
• Adequate visual acuity to read and interpret data on screens and printed materials.
• Ability to travel to other sites for support or presentations.
• Capacity to adapt to a dynamic work environment, including multitasking and managing stress effectively.
