AI Solutions & Enablement Lead

Position Overview

The AI Solutions & Enablement Analyst is responsible for helping establish and scale Vertech's enterprise AI function.

As the first dedicated hire within the AI Solutions & Enablement organization, this role works closely with leadership to help define the team's direction, operating model, standards, and priorities while accelerating the responsible adoption of AI across the company.

The role serves as a foundational member of the AI & Data organization and contributes across multiple aspects of the AI operating model, including solution evaluation, solution development, enablement, governance support, training, and value realization. While the position will initially span several disciplines, its purpose is not to permanently own all AI functions. Rather, this role helps establish the foundation necessary for future organizational growth, specialization, and team expansion.

The position partners with stakeholders throughout the business to identify opportunities where AI can improve productivity, decision making, automation, and business outcomes. The role helps bridge the gap between emerging AI capabilities and practical business needs while promoting responsible and governed adoption.

Success in this role is measured not only by the value delivered through AI solutions, but also by the organization's ability to establish scalable AI capabilities, operating practices, governance frameworks, and adoption models that support long-term growth.

The role works closely with the Senior Manager, AI & Data, Data Products Manager, Senior Data Architect, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, business stakeholders, and external partners to help shape the future direction of Vertech's AI organization.

Primary Responsibilities
  • AI strategy execution: Support execution of Vertech's AI roadmap by identifying, prioritizing, and advancing AI opportunities that drive measurable business value. Translate strategic objectives into actionable initiatives, operating practices, and capability development plans.
  • AI organization development: Partner with leadership to establish the foundations of Vertech's AI function, including standards, operating principles, team structures, success measures, governance models, and capability roadmaps that support long-term organizational growth.
  • Operating model development: Help establish scalable processes, standards, intake models, prioritization frameworks, governance mechanisms, and measurement systems that support the continued growth of the AI organization.
  • AI technology evaluation: Assess emerging AI tools, platforms, copilots, agents, and automation capabilities to determine business applicability, technical fit, security alignment, and organizational readiness.
  • AI solution development: Design, prototype, and implement AI-enabled solutions that improve workflows, productivity, decision support, reporting, and operational effectiveness. Establish repeatable patterns and leading practices that can be leveraged by future AI team members and business stakeholders.
  • AI enablement and adoption: Develop programs that improve organizational AI literacy, adoption, responsible use, and business value realization.
  • Training and change management: Create training materials, workshops, office hours, communications, best practices, and user support resources that help employees successfully adopt AI technologies.
  • AI governance support: Partner with IT, Cybersecurity, Legal, and business stakeholders to support governance processes, usage standards, risk management practices, and responsible AI initiatives.
  • Usage, value, and cost management: Monitor adoption metrics, licensing utilization, consumption patterns, costs, and business outcomes associated with enterprise AI tools.
  • Cross-functional engagement: Work with stakeholders across Service, Operations, Engineering, Finance, HR, Sales, IT, and HQ teams to accelerate AI adoption and drive alignment.

Accountability:
  • Owns recommendations related to AI tool evaluations, use-case prioritization, adoption programs, training strategies, and AI implementation approaches.
  • Recommends improvements to AI governance practices, operating models, solution portfolios, and organizational capabilities.
  • Supports enterprise AI tools, security exceptions, legal commitments, data-sharing arrangements, or governance policies with appropriate stakeholder approval.
  • Escalates unresolved governance, prioritization, adoption, security, vendor, and organizational development issues to the Sr. Manager, AI & Data.
