AI Product DesignerRemote | W2 Contract to Hire | AI-Focused(Preferably in Atlanta, GA , Chicago, IL or Sugar land , TX) About the RoleTeamSoft is hiring an AI Product Designer for a large enterprise client that is growing its AI Experience team. You'll design AI tools for labor planning, budgeting, staffing, and operational decisions. Field operators, managers, and business leaders will use these tools every day to make faster, more confident decisions.
The core belief behind this role is that AI should support human expertise, not replace it. You'll design experiences where AI recommendations and human judgment work together, built on transparency, explainability, and user control.
You'll report to a Senior AI UX Designer and work closely with Product Management, Data Science, AI/ML Engineering, and Operations leaders.
What You'll Do- Design AI-powered workflows that pull information out of contracts, RFPs, and operational reports, then turn it into recommendations people can act on.
- Make AI explainable. Show users why the AI recommended something, how confident it is, where the data came from, and where the data conflicts.
- Keep humans in control. Design flows where users review, validate, override, and correct AI output, and where their feedback improves the system over time.
- Build conversational and agentic experiences, including AI copilots, guided assessments, assistive chat, voice-enabled workflows, and mobile-first tools for the field.
- Create decision-support tools, such as what-if scenario planning, side-by-side staffing comparisons, and views of cost, performance, and service-level tradeoffs.
- Do your own discovery research. Run contextual inquiry with operators, lead stakeholder workshops, run usability tests, and iterate on what you learn.
- Shape Responsible AI patterns for transparency, human oversight, accessibility, auditability, and fairness, and help evolve AI design standards across the organization.
What You Bring- 4 to 6 years of experience in UX, Product Design, or a related field
- At least 2 years designing AI-powered products or features that shipped to real users
- Experience designing complex enterprise applications and workflow systems
- Experience shipping enterprise SaaS products
- A portfolio that shows user-centered problem solving, complex workflows, and measurable impact
- Strong grasp of human-in-the-loop design, explainable AI, interaction design, and information architecture
- Hands-on skill with Figma, FigJam, interactive prototyping, and design systems
- Comfort working with Product, Engineering, Research, and Data Science in agile teams
Nice to Have- Experience designing copilots, conversational AI, AI agents, recommendation systems, or predictive analytics
- Background in workforce management, scheduling, operations, facilities, logistics, or field service
- Experience designing dashboards, forecasting tools, data visualization, or decision-support platforms
- Working knowledge of LLMs, RAG, model confidence, prompt design, and AI evaluation
- Experience measuring trust, adoption, and how often users accept AI recommendations
- Use of AI-assisted design and prototyping tools in your own work
Why This Role- Fully remote, with a path to a full-time position
- Real AI design problems, not AI as a buzzword: uncertainty, explainability, error recovery, and agentic control
- Your work will directly shape the decisions of people running real operations
