We are looking for a Data & AI Architect/Lead Engineer to drive the design, development, and delivery of enterprise-scale Data and AI solutions. This role combines hands-on technical leadership with solution architecture responsibilities, focusing on modern data platforms, large-scale analytics, GenAI/LLM applications, RAG frameworks, AI agents, and intelligent automation. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Python, SQL, ETL/ELT, cloud data platforms, Spark, and AI technologies, along with proven experience leading cross-functional engineering teams and delivering business-focused data and AI products in a fast-paced environment
Your Role
- Lead end-to-end Data & AI solution design, architecture, development and delivery.
- Design and develop scalable data modeling, data quality, data pipelines, data platforms and analytics solutions across structured and unstructured data.
- Drive GenAI/LLM use cases, including RAG, AI agents, conversational AI and intelligent automation.
- Translate business problems into data products, AI solutions and technical roadmaps.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership across Python, SQL, APIs, ETL/ELT and cloud data platforms.
- Establish best practices for data quality, governance, observability, security and performance.
- Lead technical discussions, architecture reviews, design decisions and engineering standards.
- Guide and mentor Data Engineers, AI Engineers and offshore engineering teams.
- Own delivery outcomes including quality, timelines, risks and stakeholder communication.
Your skills and experience
- 10+ years in Data Engineering / Data Platforms with strong technical leadership experience.
- Strong system design, solution architecture, development and delivery capabilities.
- Strong experience in business operation and insights in one or more areas such as Workforce mgmt., Software Asset mgmt., Supply Chain, Financials, Budget and Forecast.
- Strong expertise in Python, SQL, ETL/ELT and distributed data processing.
- Experience with Spark and large-scale data architecture.
- Strong cloud experience with GCP, AWS or Azure; GCP preferred.
- Hands-on experience with LLMs, RAG, vector databases, Conversational AI, AI agents, Agentic Workflows and GenAI application development.
- Understanding of ML/AI lifecycle, model integration, evaluation and production deployment.
- Proven experience leading complex programs involving multiple engineering and business stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to operate effectively in a high-speed, highly technical client environment.
The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $82,082- $193,440/year

In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
