Full Job Description
AI Implementor

This is a high visibility, high impact role at the center of how a growing enterprise adopts AI for real. The AI Implementor owns the execution layer beneath our AI Council, turning governance and literacy priorities into day to day practice across every business unit. A significant part of the job is spent inside business unit workflows: observing how work actually happens, identifying where processes bottleneck or create opportunity, and working hand in hand with our outside AI advisory partner to turn those observations into practical improvements. Where the Council sets direction and the Executive Sponsor owns strategic alignment, the AI Implementor makes it real, driving Power User engagement, closing the gap between agent tracking guidance and actual practice, and embedding AI, primarily through Microsoft Copilot, into how the business genuinely operates.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
  • Review business unit workflows, identify opportunities for AI, and partner with external advisors to develop practical recommendations.
  • Coordinate ongoing AI Power User engagement, including scheduling, content, and follow-up.
  • Promote consistent AI agent tracking and work with business unit leaders to address gaps.
  • Partner with IT to support AI agent sharing across Copilot licenses and resolve related issues.
  • Support the rollout of AI training and coordinate recurring industry update sessions.
  • Help business unit AI Council representatives apply AI policies and implement solutions.
  • Coordinate with external AI advisors and track shared projects and deliverables.
  • Prepare progress updates and materials for AI Council meetings and Power User sessions.
  • Help maintain and update AI policies, governance guidelines, and related communications as usage evolves.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING:
  • 3 to 5+ years in a program or project management, IT enablement, or business process improvement role, ideally within a Microsoft 365 environment.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Copilot and enterprise AI agent concepts, including licensing, governance, and adoption patterns.
  • A genuine curiosity about how work actually happens on the ground, and the analytical skill to translate what you observe into practical, actionable recommendations.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive cross functional initiatives without direct authority, influencing business unit stakeholders, IT, and outside partners toward a common cadence.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, comfortable producing concise, executive ready materials.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Prior experience supporting an AI governance council, center of excellence, or similar cross functional body.
  • Background in a process driven or technical operating environment (manufacturing, industrial automation and controls, IT or data operations, engineering, or similar) where translating a real world process into something consistent and measurable was part of the job.
  • Experience working alongside an outside AI or technology advisory partner.

WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends as needed. While performing the essential functions of this position, must regularly see, speak, and hear; frequently stand; walk; occasionally kneel and stoop; use hands to manipulate, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and use standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, etc.

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
