Job Summary
The AI Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing enterprise-grade agentic AI solutions, including multi-agent architectures, tool-calling integrations, planning and reasoning workflows, and knowledge retrieval systems. The role involves integrating Large Language Models (LLMs) with enterprise applications, APIs, databases, and external services while ensuring reliable agent behavior through evaluation, monitoring, guardrails, and governance. The developer will translate business objectives into scalable AI solutions, optimize performance, and ensure security, compliance, and responsible AI practices.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and implement multi-agent architectures to support enterprise AI workflows.
• Build tool-calling capabilities and API integrations for AI agents.
• Implement planning, reasoning, and workflow automation capabilities.
• Manage memory, context, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) patterns.
• Coordinate agent-to-agent communication and multi-agent orchestration.
• Implement observability, evaluation frameworks, monitoring, tracing, and guardrails to ensure reliable agent behavior.
• Integrate AI agents with enterprise applications, APIs, databases, and external services using protocols such as Model Context Protocol (MCP) and function-calling architectures.
• Design and implement knowledge retrieval systems using vector databases, embeddings, semantic search, and enterprise knowledge repositories.
• Apply LLM architectures, prompt engineering, context management, model selection, and optimization techniques to develop enterprise-grade AI solutions.
• Establish performance monitoring, benchmarking, and continuous improvement processes to improve agent outcomes and system reliability.
• Ensure security, governance, compliance, data privacy, and responsible AI practices for autonomous agent actions.
• Translate business objectives into scalable AI solutions and drive adoption through measurable business outcomes.
• Conduct performance testing and implement improvements to optimize system performance.
• Develop and follow change management processes to maintain consistent, reliable, and maintainable software versions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across time zones to deliver AI solutions.
Required Qualifications
• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Demonstrated expertise in Python and modern software engineering practices.
• Experience with API development, distributed systems, version control, testing frameworks, and CI/CD automation.
• Deep understanding of LLM architectures, prompt engineering, context management, model selection, and optimization techniques.
• Experience designing and implementing knowledge retrieval systems using vector databases, embeddings, semantic search, and enterprise knowledge repositories.
• Proficiency with agentic AI frameworks and orchestration platforms for multi-agent coordination and workflow automation.
• Experience integrating AI agents with enterprise applications, APIs, databases, and external services using MCP and function-calling architectures.
• Experience establishing evaluation frameworks, performance monitoring, tracing, benchmarking, and continuous improvement processes.
• Strong understanding of AI governance, security controls, model risk management, compliance requirements, data privacy, and responsible AI practices in regulated environments.
• Experience with performance testing and optimization.
• Ability to develop and follow change management processes for consistent and maintainable versions.
• Ability to translate business objectives into scalable AI solutions and drive measurable business outcomes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and willingness to work across time zones.
