Full Job Description
The AI Strategist is a client-facing consultancy role within the Analytics Centre of Excellence (CoE), deployed directly onto JLL accounts to help clients understand, prioritise and realise the value of AI. The AI Strategist acts as a trusted advisor to account leadership and client stakeholders - assessing current data and analytics maturity, identifying high-value AI and automation opportunities, and defining a practical roadmap for AI adoption that is grounded in the client's operational reality.

This is not a pure development role. The AI Strategist brings together strategic thinking, stakeholder engagement and sufficient technical depth to credibly assess feasibility and shape solutions. They draw on a strong foundation in BI tooling and Databricks to evaluate what is possible, while partnering with CoE delivery teams - including AI Specialist Developers - to translate strategy into delivered outcomes.

Role and Responsibilities

The AI Strategist operates across the Discover, Define and Drive phases of the Analytics Lifecycle, with accountability for ensuring that AI and automation opportunities identified on account are viable, well-scoped and set up for successful delivery and ensure adoption.

This will include;

  • Embracing core CoE values of:
  • Customer Focus
  • Collaboration
  • Integrity
  • Courage

  • Ensuring all work demonstrates JLL's core behaviours of:
  • Inspire
  • Win together
  • Simplify
  • Be intentional
  • Be future ready

  • Engaging account leadership and client stakeholders to understand business objectives, pain points and current data and analytics maturity.

  • Conducting AI opportunity assessments on account - identifying where AI, automation and analytics can deliver measurable value across real estate operations, reporting and decision-making.

  • Defining and presenting AI adoption roadmaps that are practical, prioritised and aligned to the client's appetite, data readiness and resourcing.

  • Translating identified AI opportunities into well-scoped briefs and solution designs that can be handed to CoE delivery teams for development.

  • Acting as the primary AI subject matter expert on account - guiding clients through what is possible, what is realistic and what will deliver the greatest return.

  • Drawing on knowledge of BI tooling (Tableau, Power BI) and Databricks to assess data availability, pipeline feasibility and technical requirements as part of opportunity scoping.

  • Building strong relationships with account teams, client stakeholders and JLL/T counterparts to ensure AI initiatives are supported and embedded effectively.

  • Promoting AI literacy and data-informed decision making across account and client teams, acting as an enabler of cultural change.

  • Feeding insights and patterns from account engagements back into the CoE - helping to shape reusable frameworks, accelerators and best practice guidance.

  • Partnering with the CoE Team Lead, AI Specialist Developers and peer Analytics teams to ensure a seamless handoff between strategy and delivery.
  • Contributing to the CoE's go-to-market approach for AI services - including development of assessment frameworks, proposal content and client-facing materials.

  • Acting as a key partner to other JLL/T teams that will directly input into the success of the Centre of Excellence, including Azara product and customer success teams, Data Engineering and self-service BI platform team.
