Key Responsibilities to include:
  • Execute core systems engineering tasks including requirements elicitation, analysis, functional allocation, interface definition, and system architecture development.
  • Translate technical requirements and operational objectives into actionable Agile user stories and sprint-level tasks.
  • Support Agile ceremonies including backlog grooming, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Contribute to system design, integration activities, and end-to-end flow analysis for complex hardware/software systems.
  • Participate in systems requirements reviews, technical assessments, and interface standards development.
  • Develop documentation supporting technical issues, system performance requirements, scalability, availability, and security considerations for mid-to-large systems.
  • Support integration, verification, and validation efforts throughout iterative Agile releases.
  • Collaborate with software developers, architects, integrators, mission operators, and cybersecurity specialists to ensure cohesive system behavior.
  • Assist with risk identification, mitigation tracking, and configuration management activities.
  • Ensure traceability across user needs, system requirements, Agile features, and test/verification artifacts.

  • Experience in requirements elicitation, analysis, functional allocation, architecture development, or technical/non-technical assessments.
  • Experience developing system performance, availability, scalability, manageability, and security requirements.
  • Experience developing documentation to address program technical issues and training requirements.
  • Experience in analytical or intelligence-production environments.
  • Experience using Agile and/or spiral development models.
  • Ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary engineering environments.

Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
