Job Description:
Our client, a leading automotive and life-health company, is seeking a highly skilled CIO to lead their technology division. The ideal candidate will have experience in DevOps, Azure, and Cloud Agnostic technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the company's technology strategy in alignment with the overall business objectives.
- Oversee the IT department, ensuring effective collaboration and communication among team members and other departments.
- Drive innovation and identify new technologies that can help the company achieve its business goals.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to the team, ensuring that all technology initiatives are executed with excellence.
- Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring that resources are allocated appropriately.
- Maintain strong relationships with key vendors, partners, and stakeholders.
- Ensure that the company's technology infrastructure is secure, reliable, and scalable.
- Implement best practices in software development, testing, and deployment, with a focus on DevOps methodologies.
- Ensure that the company's cloud infrastructure is optimized for performance and cost efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
- At least 10 years of experience in information technology, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience with Azure and Cloud Agnostic technologies.
- Strong experience in DevOps methodologies and tools.
- Experience in the automotive or life-health industry is a plus.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work mode, with a combination of remote and onsite work.
