DESCRIPTION

Summary:

The Aftermarket Manager drives the aftermarket business by coordinating spare parts offerings, pricing activities, product lifecycle support, inventory analysis, and customer support initiatives. Works cross-functionally with Engineering, Supply Chain, Service, Sales, Product Management, and Operations to support customer needs and maximize aftermarket revenue.

Principal Accountabilities:
  • Maintain spare parts catalogs, aftermarket product offerings, and related commercial data.
  • Support creation and maintenance of aftermarket pricing, quotations, and margin analysis.
  • Analyze sales, demand patterns, service part usage, and requirements to identify trends and growth opportunities.
  • Supports obsolescence management, substitute component identification, lifecycle planning, and discontinued product support strategies.
  • Monitor stocking levels, service part availability, and inventory risks; recommend stocking actions based on demand, lifecycle status, lead time, and criticality.
  • Coordinate with Engineering to identify substitute parts, upgrade paths, compatible replacements, and technical alternatives for obsolete or discontinued components.
  • Coordinates the aftermarket business rhythm and provides reporting, dashboards, KPIs, quotations, and business analysis required to support decision making.
  • Assist Sales, Service, and Customer Support teams with spare parts availability, pricing, repair options, and service offering information.
  • Maintain accurate ERP/SAP master data related to aftermarket parts, pricing, lifecycle status, and customer support offerings.
  • Participate in cross-functional product lifecycle reviews and provide aftermarket inputs into customer support and serviceability decisions.


Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field. MBA is desired.
  • 3-7 years' experience in aftermarket operations, spare parts management, product support, supply chain, customer service, manufacturing, or related role.
  • Advanced Excel capability is required;
  • Power BI, Power Query, or other analytics tool competency is required.


Knowledge, Skills and Attitudes:
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret sales, inventory, lifecycle, and customer demand data.
  • Advanced Excel capability, including pivot tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, formulas, charts, and dashboard support; Power Query or Power BI experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of ERP/SAP systems and ability to maintain accurate product, pricing, and inventory data.
  • Problem solver and solution builder with ability to identify root causes and recommend practical corrective actions.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills with ability to work with Sales, Service, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Operations teams.
  • Sense of urgency and ability to close issues in a timely manner.
  • Team player with ability to support and promote team accomplishments through collaboration and follow-through.


Physical Demands:
  • Ability to use a computer on a frequent basis.
  • Remaining stationery for extended periods but also needs to be mobile enough to navigate through work areas.
  • Ability to communicate clearly in presentations, with fellow workers, and customers.
  • Ability to travel as required


Target Annual Base Salary: $80,000 - $90,000 + Robust Benefits
