Job Title: Electrical Superintendent II
Compensation: $100,350.66 per year
Security Clearance: Secret Security Clearance (US National)
Location: Ali Al Salem Airbase - Kuwait

Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent II to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent and bring 7 to 10 years of related experience in electrical installation and maintenance. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems and the ability to plan and execute projects in accordance with applicable codes, standards, and manufacturer's recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:
Plan layout, installation, and repair of wiring, electrical fixtures, apparatus, and control equipment according to specifications and local electrical codes.
Design new or modified installations to minimize material waste, ensure future maintenance accessibility, and avoid unsightly, hazardous, or unreliable wiring.
Prepare sketches or follow blueprints to ensure proper installation of concealed wiring before walls, ceilings, and flooring are completed.
Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble, and install electrical conduit using tools such as hacksaw, pipe threader, and conduit bender.
Pull wiring through conduit, assisted by electrician helpers, and splice wires following accepted codes and standards.
Connect wiring to lighting fixtures, power equipment, and control and distribution apparatus, using hand tools and power tools.
Test circuits for continuity and electrical compatibility, using testing instruments such as ohmmeters, batteries and buzzers, and oscilloscopes.
Observe the functioning of installed systems to detect hazards or the need for adjustments, relocation, or replacement, and make necessary repairs to faulty equipment or systems.

Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience: 7 to 10 years of related experience in electrical installation and maintenance.
Licenses/Certificates: Journeyman license/certificate or equivalent is required

Skills & Abilities:
Strong understanding of electrical systems, codes, and standards.
Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, and technical sketches.
Skilled in using hand tools and power tools for electrical installations and repairs.
Ability to supervise and guide electrician helpers in performing their duties.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
