As a regional sales manager in our Atrial Fibrillation Solutions division, you will lead a talented team across multiple territories to drive sales of innovative therapies, including the Watchman™ Left Atrial Appendage Closure (LAAC) device, electrophysiology (EP) and Access Solutions.
The Watchman device offers patients with nonvalvular atrial fibrillation an alternative to long-term blood thinner use. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a measurable difference in patients' lives while helping shape the strategic direction and performance of your region.
You will drive strategy, performance and talent development while influencing business decisions and building strong relationships with physicians, hospital systems and internal partners.
Work model, sponsorship, relocation:This is a field-based role based in Houston, Texas, requiring regular travel throughout the assigned region and to customer locations. Boston Scientific will not offer sponsorship or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for this position at this time. Relocation assistance is available for the right candidate.
Your responsibilities will include:- Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve revenue and profitability goals across the Watchman, EP and Access Solutions portfolios.
- Lead, coach and develop a high-performing field team, including sales representatives and clinical and therapy awareness specialists.
- Monitor sales performance, conduct quarterly reviews and implement corrective actions as needed to achieve business objectives.
- Provide ongoing education, resources and tools to strengthen team proficiency in product knowledge, competitive positioning and industry trends.
- Support key account growth by partnering with economic buyers and clinical stakeholders to drive product adoption and utilization.
- Oversee contract negotiations, pricing strategies and value-based selling solutions tailored to customer needs.
- Model effective selling techniques, provide field-based coaching and reinforce a disciplined sales approach across the team.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, sales operations and finance to align regional activities with national strategy.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, reporting standards and customer relationship management systems.
- Recruit, onboard, develop and retain top talent while fostering an inclusive, high-performance culture across the region.
- Represent Boston Scientific at customer meetings, industry events and educational forums to strengthen customer relationships and market presence.
Required qualifications:- Minimum of a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 7 years' relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in interventional cardiology, structural heart, electrophysiology or cardiac rhythm management device sales.
- Minimum of 5 years' sales management experience with a demonstrated record of sales achievement and team development.
Preferred qualifications:- Experience with profit and loss responsibility.
- Master of Business Administration or graduate degree in a related field.
- Strong technical and analytical capabilities with the ability to lead effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience navigating matrixed organizations and influencing across divisions and leadership levels.

The anticipated annualized base amount or range for this full time position will be
$90,000.00, plus variable compensation governed by the Sales Incentive Compensation Plan (which includes certain annual non-discretionary incentives based on predetermined objectives) as well as the value of core and optional benefits offered at BSC, which can be reviewed at www.bscbenefitsconnect.com. Actual compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, and other relevant business or organizational needs.
