As our OSP Aerial Project Manager, you will keep our projects moving smoothly, safely, and on schedule.

What you'll do

  • Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans that outline key tasks, milestones, timelines, and deliverables to keep everyone aligned.
  • Risk Management: Keep an eye on the big picture to identify potential bottlenecks (like budget constraints or delays) and implement proactive, creative solutions to mitigate them.
  • Communication & Stakeholder Management: Lead engaging progress meetings and provide regular, clear status updates to executives, clients, and team members.
  • Quality Control: Monitor ongoing progress and ensure our final deliverables consistently meet high organizational standards and client expectations.
  • Engineering Review: Review engineering drawings and prints with a keen eye for quality and constructability.
  • Pole Attachment Application Submission and Tracking: Ability to submit and track pole attachment applications through the lifecycle, from make-ready engineering to construction completion.
  • Bridge the Gap: Identify engineering issues early and work to create a seamless, collaborative feedback loop between our engineering and construction teams.
  • Project Logistics: Create desktop takeoff sheets and submit purchase order requests to keep field teams equipped.
  • Executive Visibility: Help design, create, and support weekly slide decks for executive reviews, showcasing our team's wins and progress.


What you'll need

  • Leadership & Collaboration: A proven ability to motivate cross-functional teams, build consensus, and delegate tasks effectively.
  • Top-Notch Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills-you know how to tailor your message to everyone from field techs to executives.
  • Problem-Solving Prowess: Sharp critical thinking and quick decision-making abilities when faced with shifting project needs.
  • Industry Foundations: A solid, basic understanding of both aerial and underground construction methods.
  • Permitting & Utility Experience: Hands-on experience submitting pole attachment applications and successfully navigating/receiving permits from various municipalities.
  • Education & Experience: A Bachelor's degree in a related field OR 5+ years of relevant, hands-on work experience.
  • Tech Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint to manage data and build clean presentations.
  • Leadership Track Record: Previous supervisory and/or managerial experience.
  • The Basics: Legal authorization to work in the United States, and the successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen, background check, and motor vehicle record check.

Preferred Extras (Bonus Points!)
  • 3-5 years of dedicated OSP aerial engineering and construction experience.
  • Specific regional work experience in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, or Montana.
  • Direct experience working with Telecom Fiber companies systems and standards.
  • Proficiency in Smartsheet to track and automate workflows.
